Coins with numismatic value are highly prized by collectors and investors. The definition for numismatics is the study and collecting of coins.

Not to be confused with a “collectible”, collector coins are typically older coins that were once actually used as money. “Collectibles”, may not have any numismatic value at all. Many “collectibles” are nothing more than reproductions that have very little intrinsic value.

Collecting coins can be as rewarding as it is challenging. There are many great strategies to consider. When you buy numismatic coins, it is important that you only consider third party graded and certified coins. Professional Coin Grading Service (PCGS) and Numismatic Guarantee Corporation (NGC) are considered the most reliable grading services.
